I remember Dennis's sense of humour, his interest in travelling, in languages and in meeting people, his commitment to the Labour Party and the church. He seemed to enjoy our music making and it is good to recall his rich voice singing "On Ilkley Moor Baht 'at"            Liz Coates

Please tell Matthew that he was quite right in believing everyone knew his father, hence the comment from the man I (Margaret) stopped to ask the way: "You're going to Dennis's funeral?"  Margaret & David Hill

We will always remember Dennis - his cheerfulness and his enthusiasm for life and his ability to engage with people and issues in his many and varied interests. We realise how much you will miss his larger than life personality mingled with his kindness and good humour. He enthused and encouraged so many people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Angela & Adrian Lepper

He was a lovely person. Joyce Douglas

We always enjoyed Dennis's company when we met up. Jenny & Brian Berkley

Dennis always took an interest in the Kruzhok, making lively and interesting contributions at any meeting he attended.
